This braided bracelet, made from "Pueblo" leather, is easy to wear all year round.
The leather used in this product is tanned using vegetable tannins extracted from sources like chestnut trees, and then generously nourished with beef foot oil.
The name "Pueblo" for the raw hide evokes images of the Native American communities, settlements, and people in the southwestern United States. It's a leather with a rough surface and an earthy (warm) feel, but it is hand-sanded as a finishing touch, and then brushed in circular motions with a metal scourer. This process creates a finer nap that develops a unique texture, increasing in luster with use.
This intricate manufacturing process is one that only the Badalassi Carlo tannery in Tuscany, Italy, is capable of performing.
You can enjoy the beautiful aging process (patina) unique to Pueblo leather, which develops a remarkable luster.
