The surface is intentionally processed to be slightly fuzzy, so the first touch is a bit rough, but over time, the roughness disappears and it transforms into a glossy finish.

This leather is made using French raw hides, and a traditional technique called vacchetta method, which involves slowly permeating the raw hide with vegetable-derived tannin extract and then oiling it with a uniquely blended beef tallow.
Compared to chrome tanning, which uses chemical agents, this process takes more time and is therefore more costly, but it is also an environmentally friendly material.
