■Material
The surface is intentionally processed to be fluffy, so the initial touch is slightly rough. However, over time, this rough feeling will disappear and the leather will become shiny.
Once you've "broken in" this leather, you won't want to let it go, making it a popular choice among leather enthusiasts.
This leather is made using a traditional technique called the "vacchetta method," which involves soaking French rawhide in vegetable tannins for an extended period and then carefully oiling it with a uniquely blended beef tallow.
Compared to chrome tanning, which uses chemicals, this process takes more time and is more expensive, but it is also an environmentally friendly material.
